Preserve momentum without losing the landing
Some gaps need a moving approach, but more momentum is not always the answer. Separate the takeoff and landing goals: build enough movement to cross, then release or redirect early enough to stay on the key.
If you repeatedly fall short, confirm that your jump input registers and that you are not slowing just before the edge. If you repeatedly sail over the destination, reduce Custom Speed or shorten the approach. If you touch down and then fall, your takeoff was good; work on the release timing instead.
Increasing speed will not fix every failure. It makes an overshoot worse.

Watch how the platform behaves for more than one cycle in the current server. Begin only when the state you need is consistently usable. If its appearance and collision do not match your expectation, use the behavior you observe rather than trusting the visual alone.
Consecutive gaps
Do not mentally combine the whole sequence into one jump. Identify the first place where you can stabilize. Land there, release movement, realign, and then start the next approach. Continuous movement is useful only when the current geometry leaves no safe stop and you have verified the timing through practice.
Review every three attempts
After three misses, step away from the edge and compare them. Three failures in the same direction point to a stable cause. Three different failures point to an unstable setup.

Do not aim for “somewhere on the next key.” Pick a specific central patch. After each success, note where you actually touched down. A cluster near the same spot means the approach is reliable. Scattered landings mean you need a cleaner camera line or start marker.
Once the landing cluster is stable, move the target only if the next obstacle requires a particular exit. This adds route planning without sacrificing the basic jump.
Adjust after Speed growth
Movement itself builds Speed, so the course can feel different after a training session. Return to the practice gap and run three baseline attempts before a long route. If they overshoot, retune Custom Speed in small steps. If they remain stable, keep the saved setting.
